ESPA INFOSHOP & DISTRO

ESPA has been operating a local infoshop & distro for several years, and we've had every intention of developing an online infoshop to distribute some of the great zines, comix, buttons, t-shirts, CDs, DVDs, vegan treats and other cool stuff we sell as a year-round fundraising initiative... Alas, it appears monkeys will fly out of our butts before we manage to find the time to do it, so for now this project remains on hold. Crossed fingers for 2015 (only sort of kidding).

Our physical infoshop hours at the Stanley Milner Library remain inconsistent, sorry—best to call for an appointment —or to check out the most current infoshop stock, you can also visit us at our Production Space/Physical Plant in Bonnie Doon (call us for more info). You can also find us here:

Looking to distribute your project?

If you produce a zine, independent comic, or have a CD or film you want us to consider distributing for you, please send us a hard copy with a note saying so. (Don't forget the note! We get a lot of mail and without it we'll just assume it's a donation to the library/archive, and even regular donors know we're slackers at responding to snail-mail these days. We're also slackers when it comes to requests to review zine websites [to considering ordering a zine] - sorry, but we really need a hard copy if you want us to consider buying some - it just falls through the cracks otherwise.)

We used to be mostly-consignment, but these days we prefer to buy projects outright from artists, depending on cost and volume, so be sure to let us know cost for bulk orders, shipping, etc.. Please include an e-dress in your note if you want a timely response, and a PayPal address, if applicable (we like PayPal. Too easy!). Last thing: Note it's pretty rare we buy zines for more than a few dollars each, especially if coming from outside Canada (after shipping & currency conversion the cost becomes too high and they're impossible for us to sell), so you might not want to waste a hard copy on us. That said, we do subscribe to several quality zines/imprints, so sending us a hard-copy of your 'expensive' swanky zine might be worth it after all.

With that, we leave you with some photos...
