The 2009 North of Nowhere Expo concluded Oct. 31. See the archived site through the NoN Expo link at left! Note that our next expo won't be until 2011. Submission info will be posted in the spring.
In 2010 we will be significantly reducing the number of public events we produce, to focus on Board restructuring, Our Voice restructuring, reviving our online catalogue, and our 2010 Mural Project - more info coming soon!
We'll still be tabling at other events though, and will continue to distribute some great small press and fair trade items (see the infoshop/distro link at left). Our office hours at the Stanley Milner Library remain inconsistent, sorry—best to call for an appointment. In November of 2006 the ESPA officially adopted Our Voice, Edmonton's premiere Street Newspaper, which since 1996 has created a voice for the marginalized and is sold locally by low-income and homeless people as a means to increase self-sufficiency. We hope to have a separate link for Our Voice set up soon, but in the meantime, if you would like to contribute as a writer or artist, or would like to become an authorized vendor, please contact us at OurVoice(AT)edmontonsmallpress.org
