* Indicates wheelchair-accessibility via non-public elevators only (more info below)

THE INFO BELOW PROVIDES GENERAL INFO REGARDING CHILDCARE & ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES (including PUBLIC TRANSIT):

What about the kids? Many NoN Expo events are child-friendly and kids 14 & under automatically get free admission, when accompanied by an adult caregiver. All music cabarets are licensed, non-smoking and All-Ages-I.D. will be required and strictly enforced to anyone who looks under the age of 25. For parents wanting to bring their younger kids, a quiet room will be accessible for wee tired night-owls (Childcare not provided).

Some film screenings and exhibitions are not suitable for kids under 14 and will be noted in the program with a Parental Discretion Advisory. Conversely, the Oblio & Arrow button (at right) indicates that we think the event is suitable for young children (Disclaimer: Unless you are really conservative, in which case you probably have no interest in this Expo anyway). Professional Childcare is not available but we do endeavour to provide as many infant amenities as possible (emergency diapers, quiet spaces, etc.)-if you bring your infant and need anything, ask a Volunteer and we will accommodate to the best of our abilities.

Please be sure to submit your comments to Speakers' Corner Alberta, which will be at the Stanley A. Milner Library (Theatre Foyer) during the last two weeks of September.

Wheelchair/Accessibility: Most NoN Expo activities are Wheelchair/Accessible, but in some cases only via the 'back door'. If you have a physical disability and want to access non-public elevators, please try to call us at least 24 hours in advance so we can ensure someone is there to provide access. And yes, we have insurance.

ETS/Public Transit:

NOTE: Routes 1, 2, 3, 5, 120 and LRT are all day and night, some as late as 1:00am. Some of these are only peak service routes. See ETS website or call 496-1611 for more info.

The ESPA thanks the ETS for their support of the North of Nowhere Expo's Volunteer Program.

The ESPA gratefully acknowledges the support of Jackson Power & Electric Ltd. in the environmental design of the Bomb Shelter.
