The North of Nowhere Expo is a non-profit activist-arts festival which is committed to fostering the awareness of the arts as tools for positive social change. The Expo will include:

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical work-experience in a fun, creative and exciting social environment. All NoN Expo volunteers will receive full-access passes to all events, hospitality & other perks, and be honoured at a volunteer-wrap party on Sept. 30. Previous experience is an asset, but not required.

All orientation meetings will be held in Room #9, 6th Floor, at the Stanley A. Milner Library in downtown Edmonton (7 Sir Winston Churchill Square) on the following dates:

Wed., Aug. 31: 3pm & 7pm - Specifically pre-event admin & production volunteers
Wed., Sept. 7 & 14: 3pm & 7pm - Specifically publicity admin & front-of-house/event volunteers


* IMPORTANT: PLEASE R.S.V.P. IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING ONE OF THE ABOVE SCHEDULED ORIENTATIONS. We do not recommend you just show up without letting us know in advance (in the case of schedule changes, etc.)
