The North of Nowhere (NoN) Expo:
A Multidisciplinary Festival of
Independent Media & Underground Art
Sept. 16-30, 2007

This year we're not scheduling a full (multiple-day) fair due to time and venue restrictions, but we are having a small fair & market, making some very cool stuff available for purchase at the Propaganda Party on Sept. 29 (8pm-1am), at the Cosmopolitan Music Society (8426 Gateway Blvd. [103 St.])…

We'll have locally handmade and imported Fair Trade functional art and textiles, as well as a variety of small press and related ephemera from Guatemala, Indonesia, Honduras, El Salvador, Uganda & more. The Propaganda Party is all about mocking capitalist culture, so if you care about supporting socially-conscious cottage industries and artisans, please consider doing some of your holiday shopping early this year. (Walmart doesn't need your support, but small enterprises and artists do!*)
